Censo Visual y Biomasa

Visual surveys began during the 2016-2017 field season.  Since then, 29 visual surveys have been conducted (as of June 2019).  In the next research segment, visual surveys will continue now that submerged FADs have been deployed.  In addition, baited and vertically oriented underwater cameras will be deployed to attempt to gather remote observations of fish species from the submerged FADs.
